This is a part-time opportunity (20 hours/week)

To thrive in this role, we’re seeking candidates with a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a DB Engineer and a strong background with Azure and MySQL spanning at least 3+ years. Your proficiency in migrating on-premises databases to the cloud will be highly advantageous in this role. 

About the project:

Multiple .Net and ASP CORE projects require migration, technical or functional upgrades, maintenance, and support. The primary domain is the customer recognition platform. 

Requirements:   

• 5+ years of experience as a DB Engineer, working with MS SQL and Azure Data services. 

• Proficiency in MySQL administration. 

• Hands-on experience in migrating on-premises databases to the cloud. 

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English. 

  
 
Responsibilities:  

• Migrating all legacy on-premises databases to the cloud. 

• DB development and DBA support. 

• Work with legacy SQL Server databases and Azure SQL database offerings, such as Azure SQL and SQL Managed Instance. 

• Write scripts to automate database synchronizations, including data and schema changes. 

• Independently analyzes, solves, and corrects issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
