We are looking for an office-based IT Support Specialist to provide onsite and remote support for our employees and assist the remote IT Engineer with IT operations.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, service desk, or related role.
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 administration; basic knowledge of MacOS, Windows Server OS and Active Directory.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Office Apps).
- Familiarity with Intune and Entra ID (basic understanding of device enrollment and identity management).
- Knowledge of computer hardware components, RAID basics, and troubleshooting methods.
- Experience in diagnosing, upgrading, and repairing PCs, laptops, and peripherals (minor repairs, replacement of components).
- Understanding of network architecture and main protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, SMTP).
- Basic networking knowledge: LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting, switch/router/AP setup.
- Basic understanding of information security principles.
- Experience with installing and updating software.
- Basic PowerShell knowledge.
- Experience with HelpDesk systems (ticket processing, task execution).
- Experience in IT equipment purchasing and vendor interaction (in coordination with the remote IT Engineer).
- English at the level sufficient to read and understand technical documentation.
- Responsibility, accuracy in documentation, and ability to work independently within given instructions.
- Team player, fast learner, curious, and self-motivated.
Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support for employees in the office and for remote users via Teams/email. Support user workplaces (workstations, peripherals, applications).
- Install and configure user devices, install and update software according to company standards and policies.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes (account preparation, equipment handling).
- Assist the remote IT Engineer by executing assigned tasks.
- Coordinate delivery and return of IT equipment for remote employees.
- Maintaining IT equipment in working order (service, upgrade, basic repairs, interaction with service centers).
- Participate in procurement process: selecting and purchasing equipment and peripherals (in coordination with the IT Engineer).
- Equipment accounting, inventory management, and IT documentation upkeep.
- Monitor alerts from IT systems and backup solutions, respond or escalate when needed.
- Escalate complex issues to an IT Engineer.
- Track assigned tasks and working time in company systems.
- Participate in infrastructure improvement and modernization projects.
Schedule: 5/2, 8-hour working day (40 hr per week), flexible schedule.
