A healthcare revenue-cycle platform specializing in real-time insurance eligibility verification and automated coverage-change monitoring. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Woodbury, NY, the company aims to reduce claim denials by proactively detecting changes in a patient’s coverage, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans
Its platform offers real-time and batch eligibility checks, automated alerts via email or API when coverage changes occur, and integration via RPA with RCM and EHR systems (e.g. PointClickCare, MatrixCare)
The company serves skilled nursing facilities, DME providers, pharmacies, RCM organizations, and more
They also provide a HIPAA-compliant mobile app for on-the-go eligibility checks across 800+ payers
The project is in an active development phase, supporting a growing base of existing clients while handling a high and increasing volume of coverage-related requests. In parallel, the team is rebuilding the platform to deliver a refreshed UI and enhanced functionality.
We're also expanding integrations with new payers and third-party systems, while continuously maintaining and adapting previously built connections to meet changing requirements. The day-to-day work includes backlog grooming, competitive analysis, strategic product planning, and supporting both client requests and the development team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual eager to join a growing product and grow alongside it. - Proven experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, and UX/UI
- Deep understanding of U.S. healthcare workflows, regulations (HIPAA, CMS, etc.), and data standards (HL7, FHIR, X12)
- Experience gathering and translating business needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
- Skilled at backlog management, feature prioritization, and facilitating sprint planning and refinements
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data, workflows, and system dependencies
- Proven success delivering enterprise-level SaaS or B2B products, preferably in clinical or administrative healthcare settings
- Experience working with API-driven platforms, integrations with EMRs/EHRs, payers, or third-party data sources
- Ability to run discovery sessions with clients or internal stakeholders to clarify scope and outcomes
- Familiarity with healthcare KPIs and how product features can impact reimbursement, care coordination, or patient access
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially for writing product documentation and aligning diverse stakeholders
- Experience with compliance-sensitive features, such as audit trails, access controls, or reporting obligations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on insurance eligibility verification, claims, or coverage tracking tools
- Background in RCM, SNF workflows, or DME/POS systems is a strong plus
- Product Owner certification (e.g. CSPO, PSPO) or Business Analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA)
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Figma, and analytics tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude
- Previous experience in startups or scale-ups is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize product features based on business goals, user needs, and regulatory requirements in the healthcare domain.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring user stories are clear, complete, and aligned with team capacity and sprint timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, QA, compliance, clinical experts) to ensure accurate implementation of features.
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions with internal stakeholders, clients, or subject matter experts to identify pain points and opportunities for product improvement.
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, use cases, workflows, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
- Validate features and enhancements against business needs and ensure they align with healthcare compliance (e.g., HIPAA, CMS mandates).
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, including planning, reviews, demos, and retrospectives, representing the voice of the user and business.
- Track feature adoption and product metrics, helping define success criteria and informing future iterations.
- Coordinate with QA teams to review test plans and validate coverage, especially for features involving clinical or billing data.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, payer rules, and healthcare industry trends to proactively plan necessary product adjustments.
- Support go-to-market activities, including documentation, internal training, and communication of new features or changes to clients or partners.
