Langate Software is looking for a fearless, talented QA engineer ready to take part in building a great company with us and share our values. Our ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in a Manual QA role and is a self-disciplined, well-organized individual with strong analytical thinking and perfect communication skills.  

 

 

About the project: 

Project is a uniquely configurable cloud-based platform designed to guide and reinforce behaviors that drive results; mobilize employees; strategically align individuals with company values and objectives; and solve an organization’s ever-changing business issues. The system’s Activity Streams and Leaderboard allow users to see how they compare alongside others in the organization, which helps businesses create a culture of recognition where individuals feel more connected to the company and their coworkers through Manager Discretionary, Peer-to-Peer, Service Anniversary & Milestones and Sales Incentive Programs  

 

Requirements:  

  • 3+ years of experience in a manual QA role   

  • Experience with requirements analysis   

  • Good understanding of the manual testing process   

  • Web applications testing experience   

  • Experience with REST API   

  • Good test design skills   

  • Excellent reporting skills   

  • Pro-activeness and good communication skills   

  • Good written and spoken English (at least Intermediate) 

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)   

  • Experience with cross-browser testing   

  • Basic experience of SQL and database testing   

  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA)   

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)   

  • Experience with “Accessibility testing” (WCAG standards, screen readers, etc.)   

  • Experience with “Performance testing” (tools like JMeter)    

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities   

 

  Responsibilities: 

  • Manual testing of web application 

  • Requirements analysis and testing   

  • Daily communication with the Development, BA, and QA team   

  • Evaluation of product release quality   

  • Optimization and improvement of the testing process   

  • Creating and maintaining testing documentation: test cases, bug reports, testing reports   

  • Deep bugs' root cause analysis   

  • Collaborate with the automation QA team to ensure complete coverage   

  • Execute smoke, functional, regression, and accessibility, exploratory testing   

  • Іdentify and suggest areas for process improvements   

  • Provide feedback on the user experience and overall product quality   

  • Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives 

  • Ensure test environments are correctly set up for testing activities

 Schedule: 5/2, 8-hour working day (40 hr per week), flexible schedule.
