Langate is an award-winning provider of web development services in 3 main categories: business, healthcare, and education. At Langate, we're passionate about crafting digital solutions that make a real impact. We take immense pride in our strong collaboration with the U.S. We're here to shape the future of technology, one milestone at a time.
In addition to technical expertise, we value excellent communication skills. Collaboration and effective teamwork are the cornerstones of our success, and we believe in fostering an environment where everyone’s voice is heard and valued.
We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our AdTech product team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of digital advertising systems, data-driven platforms, and campaign delivery workflows, combined with the ability to lead test strategy across the product lifecycle. This role goes beyond executing test cases — we need someone who can shape quality standards, influence product decisions, and ensure every release works reliably at scale.
About the project:
Our client is a corporate trade leader for nearly four decades, enabling companies to maximize the value they receive for assets, increase their return on ad spend, and generate funding for unbudgeted expenses. Independent, with an unrivaled vantage point of the media industry, our client helps large and small brands and agencies achieve a higher ROI, leveraging incremental value in the same quality properties and services they already purchase.
The project is a CRM system for the sales departments of our client.
Requirements:
-
7+ years of QA experience with complex, data-intensive products (AdTech, MarTech, analytics platforms, or similar preferred).
-
Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test design, and structured exploratory testing.
-
Understanding of programmatic advertising components such as DSP, SSP, RTB, tracking pixels, impression/click logging, attribution, audience segments, and fraud prevention.
-
Ability to interpret API requests/responses (REST, JSON), read logs, and perform basic SQL queries for data verification.
-
Strong soft skills: clear communication, active listening, conflict resolution, ability to present testing status to stakeholders, and influence prioritization.
-
Proactive approach to spotting risks early and proposing practical solutions.
-
Ownership mindset — ability to think at the product level, not just atthe task level.
-
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment with product, engineering, data science, and operations teams.
-
Upper-Intermediate English (both spoken and written)
Nice to have:
-
Experience with automation tools (Postman, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, REST-assured).
-
Experience working with advertising exchanges, attribution platforms, CDPs, or tag management systems.
-
Knowledge of BI tools (Looker, BigQuery, Redshift, Metabase, etc.).
-
Experience defining acceptance criteria with product managers and writing requirements with engineers.
Responsibilities:
-
Owning quality for complex product areas, from planning through release. This includes defining test strategy, risk analysis, acceptance criteria, and prioritizing testing efforts based on business value.
-
Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, UX, and data teams to understand requirements, clarify user flows, and identify potential gaps early.
-
Designing and maintaining test documentation: test plans, test cases, regression checklists, data validation procedures, and bug reports.
-
Driving initiatives to improve test coverage, automation readiness, test environments, and data quality.
-
Acting as a quality advocate during grooming, planning, and retrospectives, communicating risks and proposing solutions in a productive, non-blocking way.
-
Testing features across multiple components (DSP, SSP, measurement tools, APIs, bidding logic, audience segmentation, reporting dashboards, targeting rules, etc.).
-
Using data to verify business logic: campaign performance metrics, event logs, cookies, third-party trackers, attribution, and real-time bidding behaviors.
-
Working with automation engineers to prioritize what should be automated at UI, API, and data layers.
