Langate is an award-winning provider of web development services in 3 main categories: business, healthcare, and education. At Langate, we're passionate about crafting digital solutions that make a real impact. We take immense pride in our strong collaboration with the U.S. We're here to shape the future of technology, one milestone at a time.
In addition to technical expertise, we value excellent communication skills. Collaboration and effective teamwork are the cornerstones of our success, and we believe in fostering an environment where everyone’s voice is heard and valued.
To thrive in this position, we’re seeking candidates with a minimum of 5+ years of Product Owner experience. Proficiency in healthcare enterprise products will be highly advantageous.
About the project :
Developed a platform enabling real-time verification of user eligibility and monitoring of changes in eligibility statuses. This system utilizes predefined criteria for comparison and analytics, offering automated tracking of discrepancies and efficient updates. It was tailored for industries requiring high-accuracy validation, ensuring compliance and reducing operational overhead.
About the Role:
Our customer is scaling its SAAS platform and expanding into new capabilities — and product ownership is at the center of that growth. This role goes well beyond backlog management: you'll be actively involved in shaping the strategic direction of the product, identifying opportunities in the US post-acute care market, and driving the development of new features that keep us ahead of industry trends.
Working closely with the co-founders and engineering team, you'll own the product roadmap end-to-end — from translating market needs, stakeholders' strategy, and customer feedback into a clear vision, to ensuring the team is always building the right things at the right time. If you're excited about making a real impact in healthcare technology and want your work to directly influence how the product evolves, this role is for you.
Requirements:
-
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in B2B SaaS
-
Domain expertise in US healthcare is required — experience with eligibility verification, payer integrations, revenue cycle management, SNF/post-acute care, or adjacent areas
-
Demonstrated ability to define product vision and long-term roadmap, not just manage a backlog
-
Experience working directly with founders or senior leadership in a startup or scale-up environment
-
Strong analytical skills — comfortable working with data, usage metrics, and customer feedback to make prioritization decisions
-
Solid understanding of modern software architecture concepts and openness to test-drive new approaches with vibe coding (AI-driven development); ability to have substantive conversations with engineers about technical trade-offs
-
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, Confluence or similar)
-
Excellent written and verbal communication in English; ability to write clear specs, PRDs, and stakeholder updates
Responsibilities:
-
Own the product vision and roadmap, aligning it with the strategic direction set by the founders
-
Conduct ongoing market and competitive research to identify gaps, opportunities, and positioning priorities
-
Lead customer discovery — regularly speak with clients and prospects to understand unmet needs and validate product decisions
-
Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility
-
Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed specifications that the engineering team can execute independently
-
Become the primary driver of the product scope and feature trade-offs, reducing dependency on founders for day-to-day product decisions
-
Collaborate with engineering on release planning, unblock delivery bottlenecks, and hold the team accountable to milestones
-
Be in close contact with support and account management teams to close the feedback loop between customer issues and product improvements
Team: 14 people - Project Manager, 5 Developers, 2 QA, Tech writer, Designer, Business Analyst
